Real Madrid have identified a Plan B target for the summer in case they fail to sign Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, according to Fichajes.
The La Liga giants are planning to bolster their midfield department with a marquee signing this summer and Fernandez is reportedly the prime target.
Fernandez has also talked up a dream move to Madrid in multiple interviews, but the Blues are unlikely to sanction his departure on the cheap.
The World Cup winner has a contract until June 2032 and the Blues could easily demand in excess of £130 million to part ways with him.
Madrid are likely to negotiate a lower transfer figure. If they can’t find a middle ground, the club could turn their focus to Paris Saint-Germain star Vitinha.
PSG consider the Portuguese as a key part of their future plans, but there are claims that the French champions could accept a nine-figure sum for his transfer.
Arsenal are also admirers of the former Wolverhampton Wanderers man.
