IPL 2026 [WATCH]: Prince Yadav uproots Ishan Kishan with an absolute jafa during SRH vs LSG game

The 10th match of the 2026 IPL season at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium witnessed a moment of pure cricketing theater on April 5. In a high-stakes clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), the evening air in Hyderabad was thick with anticipation. However, what was expected to be a batting pyrotechnic display quickly turned into a masterclass of pace bowling, headlined by a sensational delivery from LSG’s rising star, Prince Yadav.

Coming into the game, all eyes were on the SRH top order, but LSG captain Rishabh Pant’s decision to field first paid immediate dividends. While the veteran Mohammed Shami provided the initial breakthroughs, it was the young Prince who produced the ‘ball of the match’ to uproot the SRH captain and talisman, Ishan Kishan.

Prince Yadav castles Ishan Kishan with a stunning delivery in SRH vs LSG clash

The highlight of the Powerplay arrived in the 4th over. On the third ball of his spell (3.3 overs), Prince delivered an absolute ‘jaffa’ that left the Hyderabad crowd in stunned silence. Coming over the wicket, Prince angled the ball across the left-handed Kishan with a perfectly upright seam.

The delivery landed on a tantalizing length around the off-stump channel, tempting Kishan into an expansive drive. However, the ball exhibited a late, sharp inward movement, shaping back just enough to bypass the gap between bat and pad. The result was clinical: the off-stump was flattened, and Kishan was sent packing for just 1 run off 4 balls. Prince celebrated the dismissal with a royal flair, marking a definitive shift in the game’s momentum. The technical precision of the delivery, balancing the initial angle with the late deviation, was a testament to the young pacer’s evolving skill set under the pressure of the IPL.

SRH in turmoil after top-order collapse at home

The dismissal of Kishan was the centerpiece of a disastrous start for the Sunrisers. After 9 overs, the scoreboard told a grim story for the home side, with SRH reeling at 31/4. The collapse began in the very first over when Abhishek Sharma fell for a duck to Mohammed Shami. Things went from bad to worse when the dangerous Travis Head was caught by Aiden Markram off Shami’s bowling for just 7 runs.

By the time the Strategic Timeout was called at the 9-over mark, SRH’s run rate had plummeted to a sluggish 3.44. Shami’s opening spell was particularly suffocating, conceding only 9 runs in 4 overs while picking up two crucial wickets. With the middle order exposed early, the burden of posting a competitive total now rests on the shoulders of Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Kumar Reddy. As the sun sets in Hyderabad, LSG remains firmly in the driver’s seat, thanks to Prince’s moment of magic.
