Mallorca v Real Madrid: Commentary, updates, goals and stats from La Liga

The international break came at the wrong time for Real Madrid after five successive wins in all competitions.

Alvaro Arbeloa’s side have maintained the pressure on La Liga leaders Barcelona and advanced to the Champions League quarter-finals with home and away wins over Manchester City.

The likes of Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe are also returning to full fitness as Madrid target a strong end to the season.

Mallorca need the points for different reasons, having slipped into the relegation zone with a run of one win in seven league games.
