KKR head into this game after a frustrating loss to Mumbai Indians (MI), where their batting brilliance was overshadowed by bowling struggles. However, their inability to defend such a big total exposed serious concerns in the death overs. SRH find themselves in a similar situation after losing their opener to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Despite posting an impressive 201/9, SRH failed to contain a strong RCB batting lineup. Captain Ishan Kishan led from the front with a blazing 80 off 38 balls, supported well by Aniket Verma. Yet again, SRH’s recurring issue of closing out high-scoring matches came to the fore.
