Mortal Kombat II Breaks All-Time Runtime Record For $204M Movie Franchise

Mortal Kombat II has already broken a major franchise record.

The sequel adaptation of the fighting game franchise has officially broken a runtime record for the series, confirmed just one month ahead of its release.

According to a listing from AMC Theaters, Mortal Kombat II has a runtime of 1 hour 56 minutes. This 116-minute runtime makes it the longest movie in the Mortal Kombat series ever made.
