Forest ace to prefer Man City

Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson could snub Manchester United to join Manchester City during the summer transfer window.

The Englishman is one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League and he is widely expected to leave the Tricky Trees.

Man City have already communicated their interest to the player’s agents, but reports claim that Man Utd are likewise keen on his services.

Journalist Andy Mitten has now revealed that Anderson is more likely to end up with Man City rather than Man Utd at the end of the season.

Both clubs could offer the midfielder with Champions League football but he could snub the Red Devils due to the managerial uncertainty.

United are yet to decide on their next head coach. Despite Michael Carrick‘s successful stint as interim boss, the club are looking at alternatives for the permanent managerial position.

This could hamper their chances of signing Anderson before Man City. Forest are expected to demand at least £75 million for his services.
