Here’s the test. Poured in 12 oz of boiling water to pre-heat the insulated food jar. After 5 minutes, I emptied the water and poured in 12 oz of bubbling hot stew. Closed the jar and placed in my neoprene lunch bag for 4 hours. After 4 hours the stew was 130 degrees Fahrenheit. The same temperature as a medium rare steak.I found this impressive because it’s hard to keep such a small portion (12oz) hot for hours.
Well made and nice size. We bought 2 and really like them for breakfast when out volunteering on the trail. Keeps food at temperature, easy to clean. Much better than plastic containers.
