3. Stacked Pumpkin Cookies Using Store-Bought Dough

Stack these larger ready-to-bake pecan turtle caramel cookies under smaller ready-to-bake pumpkin sugar cookies for a festive cookie that is insanely delicious and very low effort. You can use the chocolate chip variety instead if desired! Just remember the 12 big cookie packages (not the minis) work best.

The key is to bake the larger cookie first for 5 minutes at 350 degrees, remove it from the oven and place the smaller sugar cookie on top. Then bake it for another 6 minutes. The result is a double-decker cookie that’s festive and oh so delicious!

4. Haunted Ghost Pizza

10. Monster Eyeball Cake

monter cake as halloween party food idea

My Hip2Save sidekick decorated the cutest monster cake with her kids last Halloween! I love the bright colors and swirly designs. I bet she created a lot of fun memories also with the kiddos too.

Here are Liz’s tips to recreate her Halloween cake:

“After applying a crumb coat on the cake, we started at the bottom of the cake and worked our way around in a circle to make sure we filled in all the spots with icing using a Wilton star tip! After this monster was fully purple we then went over some areas with green icing to give him spots!

My two tips for making a monster cake of your own would be that consistency of icing is important! If it’s too thin, it won’t hold the “fur” shape, and if it’s too firm it’ll be hard to squeeze out of the piping bag! So if you’re making your own icing be sure to add milk/heavy cream in small increments until you get that perfect in-between consistency!

I would also recommend using gel-based food coloring because it won’t affect the consistency.”

11. Bloody Band-Aid Wafers
