11,000 Pieces & Stunning Details

LEGO’s new official UCS Death Star is quite large, featuring 9,000 pieces. However, one custom build proves sets can always get bigger with the only model Star Wars fans might want more than the Imperial superweapon.

Featuring over 11,000 pieces, Brickvault.com is selling the instructions and parts list for an incredible UCS Jedi Temple model. Created by the custom builder Interstellar Bricks, this LEGO UCS Jedi Temple is absolutely massive, featuring some great details on the exterior of the model as well as some truly awesome interior components.

This 11,000 Piece Custom Jedi Temple Is The LEGO Set Fans Have Been Waiting For

As seen in the video from Brick Vault, the UCS Jedi Temple features over 11,500 pieces coming in at 56cm long, 55cm wide, and 43cm tall, beating out the UCS Death Star with over 2,500 more pieces while also being much wider. After all, LEGO’s new UCS Death Star is only a cross-section, rather than being a fully-fleshed-out model with rounded exteriors.

Keeping that in mind, this custom UCS Jedi Temple features two amazing interior builds.

On the bottom floor in the Jedi Archive, featuring multiple hallways of records and desks, as well as various busts of past Jedi. This first floor even features a full holocron vault on the side of the Jedi Archive, just like we see in The Clone Wars when it was broken into by the bounty hunter Cad Bane on behalf of Darth Sidious.

Likewise, the second floor is just as impressive with the entire Jedi Council chamber, featuring multiple chairs and an ornate floor pattern. As a result, it’s quite a great addition when compared to other Jedi Temple custom builds that can be found on the Internet.

I also really liked the use of predominantly gray bricks for the exterior, while using tan and red pieces as a secondary. There’s also some very creative SNOT-ing techniques on display (Studs Not On Top) as highlighted in the above video.

While one can hope that an official Jedi Temple set from LEGO will be just as good, those too impatient to wait can purchase the instructions from Brickvault.com for 64.99.

They also provide an estimate of the cost for all the pieces ordered from sites like Bricklink (~$950 – $1100 USD with interiors, ~$650 – $700 USD without). That’s fairly comparable to the UCS Death Star’s $1000 price tag.

At any rate, it’s pretty fun to see the impressive creativity on display with this absolutely massive custom Jedi Temple.
